What is the opportunity?

As the Manager Treasury Analytics, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of IT solutions to bridge data gaps, enhance reporting infrastructure and provide insightful analytics to the Caribbean Treasury team. Specifically, you will capture business needs, by understanding user requirements, system limitations and work with data stream managers to prioritize and implement functionality.

What will you do?

Support the preparation/extraction of data and the analysis of data used to complete analytics features with the goal of providing insights that lead to effective balance sheet conversations, increased productivity and enhanced business partner engagement.

  • Work closely with team members and business partners to fully understand and capture Treasury business needs and convert into manageable analytical request.
  • Lead the charge on automating, modeling and documenting IT systems solutions, and work with the regional teams to implement new solutions.
  • Critically evaluate, information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistencies and streamline data to end user requirements   
  • Design, develop and align  performance  automated measurements tools to support  enterprise and regulatory requirements

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor degree, at minimum, in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science
  • Proficient with SAS, VBA and SQL (3 years)
  • Strong data and analytical skills, including ability to create effective algorithms leading to optimized program code applied to large databases
  • Proven excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work independently, learn on the fly and adjust to shifting priorities 
  • Strong capability in non-supervised learnings
  • Proven innovative problem solving skills  

 

Nice-to-have

  • Passion for data research, algorithms, logic and statistics
  • At least 4 years of work experience in a finance/accounting/treasury field, preferably involving financial and/or regulatory reporting.
  • Able to work in an Agile approach where roles and responsibilities may frequently swapped
  • Knowledge of IT, Basel, Accounting standards, and methodologies
